2026

I hope the year has started well for all of you. 2025 was a demanding year, and I sense that 2026 will present its own set of challenges. However, in the midst of uncertainty, I feel hope and optimism pulsating through the cracks. As I sit and reflect today, I am choosing to embrace whatever may come and soften into a state of trust.

These two words, embrace and trust, seem to echo with authority as we move deeper into 2026. While my passion is centered on healing, the "primal mystic" within me is equally captivated by the intricacies of human evolution. Conscious evolution requires healing, yet I find myself feeling called to release a word that has long defined that process: "release."

In many spiritual practices, we are told to release what no longer serves us - to let go of anger, fear, shame and judgment. I practiced this for years, and while it continues to have purpose, at this moment it no longer resonates with me.

Let me explain. Throughout my training, I was taught to energetically extinguish triggers. I did not learn how to simply allow - to embrace the body and witness what arises in the present moment. In truth, I was running from my traumas because they felt unbearable. I wasn't releasing them; I was avoiding them.

Everything changed when a mentor guided me to gently feel. I’ll be honest, it wasn't easy. It took years of difficult work to integrate these aspects of myself. But through that process, I learned that I didn't need to run. I could allow myself to feel deeply with neutrality, non-judgment, and know that I would survive.

These are the intricacies of healing. We cannot always rationalize or intellectualize why we feel the way we do, and I’ve learned that the "why" often doesn’t matter. Real breakthroughs come when we embrace the shadow parts of ourselves - the parts we lock away because they are not accepted by society, family, or because we’ve deemed them wrong.

When I finally allowed those parts in, meaning I embraced and witnessed their presence within me, the heaviness began to slowly lift. This simple response to our internal environment is what allows those aspects of ourselves to passively release. That was the moment I started to love myself again, and in turn, was able to love and give more to others over time. It is a beautiful process of remembering who you truly are. To embrace is to witness the sensations in your body; to trust is to know you are divinely held, as you expand into your brilliant essence.

So, if it resonates with you this year, I invite you to release the concept of releasing! Instead, simply allow yourself to embrace the feelings your body provides without the drive to "fix" them. Connect with your breath, feel into the physical moment, and breathe through it. Remember: it is just energy, and energy is always in motion.

Please reach out if you have questions. This only skims the surface of the inner journey, and these principles apply to physical pain just as much as emotional. I am always happy to assist you in that process.

Sending you so much light, love, and wisdom for the year ahead!
